Carlos did an incredible job on my chairs. I dropped off some furniture in very bad condition and he turned them into masterpieces. I get compliments on my chairs now all the time! The craftsmanship and detailing his puts into the work is so impressive. I can’t speak highly enough of him.

Carlos did an absolutely spectacular job on a set of antique dinette chairs that I thought were unsalvageable. He managed to find exactly the vinyl I wanted, and even the silver studs that go around the chair backs. These were not easy to repair and upholster, but he did it, and did it beautifully! I am absolutely in love with the chairs, and would recommend Carlos for any upholstery job!

I chose Carlos based on the photos on his website, as my chair was similar to those he had already done, and the work looked to be good. When I got to his shop and met him, I got the confidence that he truly knew his stuff and could do the job well. The turnaround time to do the job was entirely reasonable; I hadn't gotten prices anywhere else so I'm not sure whether pricing was inline with other shops, but the vibe told me that Carlos would do a good job. He took the time to explain his work process, and I was very impressed that he fills all the existing nail holes after he removes the old fabric so that the new nails will set properly. Carlos updated me along the way, telling me that he had retied the springs and added additional cushioning so that the chair would give a better sit. The chair was ready as promised, and it's good as new. Better, probably. It looks beautiful, the nailing is completely even all around, the sewing of the welting is perfect, and the crown of the seat is nicely padded and even--no lumps or divots. A completely worthy investment, as the chair is ready for another 70 years at least! I would recommend Carlos to anyone.

I know that everyone has given Carlos and his team of upholsterers 5 stars, and I have another 5 star review to contribute! Their work is true craftsmanship, my 2 chairs look better than ever with an updated yet classic look. Carlos really takes the time to review the many, many material samples with you, so that you are happy with your choice and he ensures that it will look great. There was good communication throughout the process. He is also a great person and character, fun with many good stories, the type of person who deserves our business. You and your furniture get the best of care with Carlos. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

I would give Carlos six stars if I could!!! He did an INCREDIBLE job on an antique chair that I've had for more than ten years. Soooo, I 'rescued' this chair with the lofty goal of reupholstering it myself. Needless to say it never happened after I stripped it, so I was faced with the choice to throw it out or find someone to finish the job. I located the perfect blue fabric and entrusted Carlos to do the job! Not only is he the kindest man but his work is IMPECCABLE! Carlos went above and beyond what I could have asked for. The batting is beautiful, the seams are seamless, and he even repaired a bit of the chipped wood. I told Carlos that I would not only recommend him to others but that I would proudly write this review. My pictures speak for themselves. I literally just picked the chair up so I will upload more photos once it's back in my apartment. So glad I held onto the chair and made the investment in reupholstered with him!
